CT Hackerspace at 30 Echo Lake Road, 3rd floor Watertown, CT. GPS will get you to the address, then follow Silk Street around to the back of building. The picture below will assist in finding our entrance in the building.

We  get together to enjoy a fantastic community of makers, hackers, inventors, and tinkerers. Wednesday Open Space Nights are our informal night where we socialize as well as work on a variety of projects: Personal, Infrastructure, or group designs. Come visit and join in the fun, We look forward to meeting you and having you part of our community.

Wednesday Night Spotlight : New Lulzbot "Unboxing" and Celebration

As you may have heard, CT Hackerspace was chosen as one of the winners picked in a worldwide contest for effectively demonstrating a passion for user innovation and creativity, especially within open source and the 3D printing industry. The Prize, a new Lulzbot Mini Printer.  The Printer has arrived at the hackerspace!  We will celebrate tonight as well as document it's unboxing.

A Big Thank You / Mad Hackers Conference in Danbury

 I wanted to say a thank you to everyone who came out and supported CT Hackerspace iat the Mad Hackers Conference in Danbury yesterday. The event went well, and many people learned  who we were and that hacking can be fun .  Thanks also to Mike and Jon for giving us the opportunity to being showcased at the event. Bill

CT Hackerspace Non Profit Exploratory Committee Now Forming

As stated at our State of the Space Meeting, I'm forming a Non Profit Exploratory  Committee to help implement improvements in the space.

The CTH Non Profit Exploratory Committee

A Non Profit Exploratory Committee has been created to discuss and create plan for determining Not-for-Profit or Non Profit Status 501 (c)(3) status for the space and recommend findings, as well asdiscuss the option to join the Space Federation. This committee will create checklist and group requirements, and build recommended timeline to the board.

CT Hackerspace Facility Committee Now Forming

The purpose of the Facility Committee is to propose ,discuss, prioritize, and implement, plan infrastructure improvements of CT Hackerspace in terms of safety, infrastructure compliance, and security, This committee will report to the CTH board and be given some autonomy to help execute it’s goals
